      Reaping The Reward Of Rewarding Yourself ( Part 2 )

      In Part 2 and 3 of Reaping the Rewards of Rewarding Yourself I want to shed more light on specific of how I and others have successfully used the “to do list” to get more done.

      Some people use it to reward themselves after taking decisive actions towards their goals while others use this beneficial tool to get their chores done so that they clear a path towards greater success. They can do this and so can you because this “to do list” has a powerful twist to the old boring tool. We turbo charge this old, reliable and true technique by adding rewards for each action you complete.

      One person uses check marks and after each check mark they reward themselves with something during the day. After doing this for several weeks it has already become a healthy habit for them and just completing the tasks seem to bring more of a sense of well being. The rewards bring pleasure so they are even more motivated to get all their every day chores completed so that they can get closer to success.

      The rewards relate to the amount of effort or time or energy the chores or steps took you and so the more you do, the better you feel because the rewards get greater. Also, there is no yelling or screaming to get things done because instead you want to finish things because there are rewards for doing so. The obvious reward can be something you want to buy or do for yourself and the hidden reward is just finishing the task and having more time to do whatever you want to do.

      Another person shared with me how they used this technique by keeping track of everything they do during the day and at the end of the week they really go out and reward themselves and their family with something special. For them and their family it has become something they really look forward to because they get to enjoy a special meal together and get to spend some quality time together. This was one of the things this person wanted to be able to do.

      You can see just from reading that this tool is powerfully effective and can be tailored to your individual needs and desires.

      Actually, with the right attitude of gratitude where everything is seen through new zen eyes you can get a tremendous feeling just from completing your tasks. However, when you add rewards along side the feeling of relief from getting things done you can really improve your results. I add hypnosis and other methods to create even a more powerful link between completing tasks and feeling satisfaction and the rewards help to push you to continue to do your best. To BE your BEST SELF as I always say.

      I will focus on the “to do list” because I have already written about point system and other tools that you can use reward with to really turbo charge your results. In future articles I will share how to combine various of these tools to really become unstoppable in achieving your goals.

      Best of all, these tools and techniques are turbo charged to get better results than what you may have used in the past and they are simple, effective and pleasant to use and can applied after just reading these articles.

      Even just from reading my articles which feature trance like qualities that allow you to access those deeper levels of your mind you may pleasantly surprise yourself with even greater results than you had hoped. Any powerful and effective writing, music, film, literature, art, etc. has a hypnotic quality that allows you to better learn and absorb and get involved in what you are experiencing. It allow you to experience rather than just see or hear about it. Show, do not tell is a slogan of many great writers and instructors and trainers and coaches. Talking about things in the right way can allow your subconscious mind to engage and activate those deeper levels of your mind so your success will be greater and come to you easier than by struggling and only using your conscious mind.

      By tapping into the infinite power of your subconscious mind we really harness all of your drives toward continued successful action while maintaining the necessary flexibility to deal with the obstacles that life sometimes has in store for us.

      So wake up each morning with a kind of zen like calm that allows you to use feedback to steer you closer to your goals and continue to take decisive action.

      The “to do list” can help you whittle away those not so exciting yet necessary chores that we all must do each day. This can give you more time and energy to really focus on your goals toward greater success.

      So you can continue to read and apply these tools, techniques and tips knowing that you will be reaping the rewards of rewarding yourself and you too will start to see some amazing results in your life.
